Has anyone else noticed the site header missing ?
Mine’s now under the hamburger menu, but more stupidly arranged...
You now apparently have to click through the main site to get to the sub-sites.
Sigh. Idiots....

Weren’t we bought by some private equity firm? And doesn’t said firm specialize in running shit into the ground and severely cutting costs?

My first thought was that some of the sites were about to be cut loose, but I’m a pessimist.

I don’t think we’re at that point yet, but I’m fairly convinced they start each morning either spinning a wheel or throwing darts to see what they’re going to mess with.

I’m really dis appointed the notifications is not under my profile pic anymore, it’s buried on another page.

Fantastic, and I bet their click through rates go down because now nobody will click on their sister site articles completely by accident like I do almost daily. It was a bad UI layout in the first place. Click the oppo bookmark, move mouse down to click post I want to read , link to deadspin or jezebel pops out and is clicked because my cursor lingered for . 00025 seconds too long, hit back button, go back to oppo, click on article I wanted to read in the first place.

You mean the black bar? I still have it.
I still can’t access comments via phone though. That may have something to do with me still using Windows Phone though.

I don’t know if anything is imminent, but it did strike me that this makes it slightly easier for sites to be sold piecemeal.

I especially like the fact that apparently no one noticed that the AV Club tagline doesn’t fit in it s box.

I did actually sometimes mouse over their headers to see what sites I don’t read as often were up to (or sometimes they’d just catch my eye with an interesting image when I moused over accidentally). Occasionally there was interesting stuff, though sometimes it was randomly articles from years ago?

You can’t highlight the header to jump to Gizmodo etc?!???? How do they expect people to navigate to the other sites?
I hope leadership is tracking page visits by visitor as I bet they plummit....
They gotta fix it as I as I as a laptop user will not be typing all of those sites in order to search for interesting content.
